As I already mentioned, it was pretty cold in Seoul in general and I had a few problems with my Nikon so a lot of the following pictures are taken with my mobilephone, in case you wondered about the quality and such. It's not that many pictures any more as I got a bit lazy I have to admit (^v^)"
I hope you'll enjoy them nonetheless!

Wie bereits erwähnt war es sehr kalt in Seoul und ich hatte einige Probleme mit meiner Nikon, daher sind viele der nun folgenden Bilder mit dem Handy gemacht, falls ihr euch über die Qualität wundern solltet. Es sind allgemein nicht mehr soo viele Bilder, da ich zugegebenermaßen ein wenig faul wurde (^v^)"

Myeong-dong

Myeong-dong is known as the one shopping street in Seoul and I expected a lot - and was kinda disappointed. You can buy a shitload of cosmetics like everywhere because all the cosmetic shops (South Korea is famous for cosmetics lol) opened up directly next to each other. It's basically a shopping street stuffed with cosmetic shops. And some expensive brands like Prada, etc.
I found a better place for shopping later but I unfortunately don't have any idea where this was. I'm sorry lol

Myeong-dong ist als die Shoppingstraße Seouls schlechthin bekannt und ich hatte daher einiges erwartet - leider wurde ich enttäuscht. Man kann Tonnenweise Kosmetik kaufen (Südkorea ist bekannt für Kosmetik), weil sämtliche Shops direkt nebeneinander stehen, so ist es eigentlich eine Straße voller Kosmetikläden. Darüber hinaus gibt es noch überteuerte Marken wie etwa Prada, also alles nicht so das Wahre. Ich habe später eine bessere Ecke zum Shoppen gefunden, aber leider keine Ahnung mehr wo das war, sorry lol

Changgyeonggung

Those picture actually don't do the beauty of this palace justice as it was really beautiful and my favourite one of all the ones we visited! By looking back now, I shouldn't have been that lazy and take pictures with my other camera lol

Die Bilder werden der Schönheit des Palasts gar nicht gerecht, da er wirklich schön war und von all denen die wir besucht haben, auch mein Favourit war! So im Rückblick hätte ich wirklich meine Kamera nehmen sollen zum Bilder machen. Verdammt!

Seouls Maskottchen

Be careful ugly pictures lol
I couldn't really figure out what it is supposed to be - a mixture between a lion and something that flys and an imaginary figure. I think. I'm not sure though it's kinda creepy and doesn't even look like the figure when it's printed on something...

Vorsicht hässliches Foto lol
Ich konnte bis zum Schluss nicht richtig ausmachen, was das Vieh eigentlich sein soll; eine Mischung aus einem Löwen, etwas das fliegt und einem Fabelwesen. Glaube ich. Es ist auch ein bisschen furchteinflößend zumal es in gedruckter Version komplett anders aussieht.

 N SEOUL TOWER

The N stands for 'new' as far as I know but I forgot the reason lol
We went on a night bus tour which was pretty awesome! There are lots of bridges in Seoul and most of them are beautifully illuminated at night so I recommand you such a night bus trip!

Das N steht so viel ich weiß für 'neu' aber ich hab den Grund dafür vergessen lol Früher hieß er auf jeden Fall nur Seoul Tower.
Wir haben eine Tour mit einem Nachtbus gemacht, was ziemlich cool war. In Seoul gibt es viele Brücken und die meisten davon sind nachts ganz hübsch ausgeleuchtet. Also solltet ihr in Seoul sein, so ein Trip lohnt sich!

Bukchon

 Bukchon is the old traditional part of the city and you can buy a lot of souvenirs there. As it was so cold that day I only have those pictures although you know by now how much I love asian architecture lol
It was f'cking cold!
Nice part of the city though.

So, despite the FOOD I'm pretty sure I've shown you the most interesting pictures I took and I hope you liked them. The last post about Korea is the food post, because I thought it might be funny to collect everything in one post, and after that my journey through Japan started - so a lot of pictures to follow!

Bukchon ist das alte, traditionelle Viertel in der Stadt und man kann jede Menge Souvenirs kaufen. Da es an diesem Tag verdammt kalt war, habe ich aber lediglich die paar Fotos und da ihr mittlerweile wisst, wie sehr ich asiatische Architektur mag, könnt ihr euch vorstellen wie kalt es war lol
War dennoch ganz hübsch anzusehen.

So, bis auf ESSEN habe ich euch glaube ich jetzt die meisten interessanten Fotos die ich gemacht habe gezeigt und ich hoffe, sie haben euch gefallen. Der letzte Post über Korea wird dann der über Essen sein, weil ich es ganz lustig fand alles in einem Eintrag zu sammeln, und dann geht es los mit meiner Reise in Japan! Es werden also noch eine Menge Fotos folgen!

Part 3 might be a big picture heavy as we visited the biggest of all palaces in Seoul and I can tell you; it is big! We lost our way as we were looking for the exit lol
Not that much to say, if you want to know more about the history and such, I'm afraid I need to send you to big brother google as I don't know nothing about it lol

Teil 3 wird etwas Bilderlastig sein denke ich, da wir den größten der Paläste in Seoul besucht haben und ich kann euch sagen; er ist groß! Wir haben uns auf der Suche nach dem Ausgang verlaufen lol
Nicht sonderlich viel zu sagen sonst, und wenn euch die Geschichte interessiert muss ich euch leider an Onkel Google verweisen, da ich so gar nichts darüber weiß.

Gyeongbogkung

One thing I really like about most Asian cities I've been to so far is the culture clash betweent hypermodern buildings, skyscrapers and conbinis with the old temples, shrines and palaces. I've never really realized it in Japan as much as in Seoul now, but by looking back it's actually quite similar.
The palaces mostly show that South Korea does have more space than Japan. Most palace areas are huuuuge!

Etwas das mir an den meisten asiatischen Städten aufgefallen ist die ich bisher besucht habe, ist das friedliche Nebeneinanderbestehen der hypermodernen Gebäude mit den alten Tempel-oder Palastanlagen. Letztere liegen oft mitten in Hochhäusern. In Japan ist es mir nie so krass aufgefallen wie in Korea, aber so im Rückblick doch eigentlich ähnlich.
Die Palastgelände demonstrieren auch sehr schön, dass Südkorea durchaus mehr Platz hat als Japan, diese Gebiete sind riesig!

Day 3 was btw one of those days my Nikon was kinda sick or something, maybe it was too cold I don't know lol So some of the pictures turned out blurry and not nice at all unfortunately.
It was pretty cold and windy in Seoul in general, so we always wore a lot of clothes and nonetheless we were freezing (>.<) On that account there won't be that much pictures at the end of my journey-way too cold to take pictures!
Tag 3 war in Allgemeinen einer der Tage, an dem meine Nikon ein bisschen krank war oder es war ihr zu kalt, ich weiß es nicht aber viele der Fotos sind nicht gut geworden leider.
Es war grundsätzlich kalt und sehr windig in Seoul, wir trugen mehreren Schichten Klamotten nund haben uns dennoch den Allerwertesten abgefroren (>_<) Später kommen auch aus genau dem Grund nicht mehr so viele Fotos - zu kalt!

I don't even know if people reading this love architecture of Asia as much as I do but I could post pictures over pictures because I love the structure and everything ♥ If you don't like it... I'm sorry there are more interesting posts up to come! FOOD for example
And I'll leave for this now.

Hello hello ~★
So I try to be a good girl and write and post as fast as I can lol (mostly because my Post-Tokyo Depression hit me really hard this time and I need something to doooo)
Let's move on to part 2 of my Seoul trip which is also day 2 I guess - oh well we arrived in Seoul pretty late so the first day we were doing sightseeing was actually already the 2nd day being there.Ah the confusion (@_@)

Hallöchen ~★
So, dann versuche ich mal fleißig zu sein und so schnell wie möglich zu posten! (Hautpsächlich weil mich meine Post-Tokyo Depression dieses Mal mal wieder hart trifft und ich etwas zu tun brauche)
Auf zu Teil 2 meines Seoul-Aufenthalts, welches auch schon zu Tag 2 wird. Aber eigentlich auch nur weil wir sehr spät in Seoul ankamen und der erste Tag an dem wir Sightseeing gemacht haben auch atuomatisch bereits Tag 2 war. Oh die Verwirrung (@_@)

Deoksugung Palace aka Gyeong-gung

In front of the Palace doors you can try the traditional korean clothes Hanbok for free. The girls working there were really nice and tried to talk with us although they couldn't speak english and I didn't get what they said. Nonetheless it's always nice if people try to make you understand and try to understand you ♥

Vor den Toren des Palasts kann man kostenlos die traditionelle koreanische Kleidung Hanbok anprobieren. Die Mädels die dort arbeiten waren auch super nett, und haben versucht uns zu verstehen und sich verständlich zu machen obwohl sie kaum englisch und wir kein koreanisch gesprochen haben. Das finde ich ja eh immer super süß ♥

As we were trying the clothes on, one of the girls asked me if I'd join the Ceremony of Changing of the Royal Guards at the Palace and I was pretty confused. Fortunately a woman could translated and explained that there's always someone who's hitting the big drum and I guess that they're mostly asking foreigners, especially if the look foreign (there had been a couple of japanese tourists too but well asians?). I was pretty afraid to fail because I'm always sooooo nervous in front of many people but I did good! lol (it was pretty easy though, I got the thingy to hit the drum, hit it three times and was allowed to leave lol)

Als wir bei den Mädels die Klamotten anprobiert haben, hat mich eine gefragt ob ich bei der Zeremonie des königlichen Wachwechsels mitmachen würde. Ich war ein bisschen verwirrt, bis eine nette Dame kam und für uns übersetzt hat. Es ist üblich, dass da Menschen aus dem Publikum auf das Paukentrommelteil hauen und ich vermute, sie fragen meistens Ausländer, speziell wenn die ausländisch aussehen (es waren auch einige japanische Touristen da, aber die sehen halt doch zu asiatisch aus...?)
Ich hatte eigentlich ziemlich Schiss, dass ich mega Blödsinn mache weil ich vor Menschenmengen doch immer so nervös bin, aber ich war glaub ich ganz akzeptabel :D (Na ja, ich musste den Schlegel entgegen nehmen und dreimal auf die Trommel schlagen, dann wurde ich schon wieder entlassen lol)

Another funny point at this palace is the chance to take pictures with the guards.
May I proudly present you my new bf? lol

Ein weiterer ziemlich lustiger Punkt dieses Palasts ist die Chance Fotos mit den Wachmännern machen zu können lol
Darf ich euch meinen neuen Freund vorstellen? lol

As I don't want to put too many pictures into one post and keep them at least a bit at the same length I'm finishing with this beautiful picture today lol
